THE PROMISE
-
What is THE PROMISE in the Bible? (1st John 2:25)
-
This is the promise that He has promised us--eternal life.
-
Why did God give us the Scripture? (John 20:31)
-
These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
-
What is Eternal Life? (John 17:3)
-
"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
-
Who is Eternal Life? (1st John 5:20)
-
We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
-
Why did Jesus come into this world? (John 10:10)
-
I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
-
Who has passed from death unto Life? (John 5:24)
-
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
-
Who does not have Eternal Life? (1st John 3:15)
-
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (Remember Abel & Cain, when they went to worship the Lord God with their offering, God accepted one and rejected the other for He knows the heart of every single individual. Result of which jealousy, scheming and bad virtues manifested in Cain as to how to kill Abel. This is how God exposes one’s heart. Cain was looking for opportune time to slay Abel and thought God knew not (misunderstanding of very God) that. This happens very much to day within the body of Christ. Go through the gospel account as to why Jesus Christ was handed over to be killed. (John 5:44; 7:18; 12:19; 11:46-48; Luke 16:15).
